Avolta is hiring a Retail Associate

Hudson, a travel retailer within the Avolta family, is hiring a Retail Associate for its location at Fort Lauderdale International Airport. This role is central to delivering an exceptional customer experience, handling transactions, and ensuring smooth store operations.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and greet customers with a friendly smile.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and store management.
• Learn merchandise details to assist customers and answer their questions.
• Operate a cash register efficiently, including processing credit card transactions.
• Follow company policies for cash handling and loss prevention.
• Inform management about pricing, inventory, and out-of-date issues.
• Protect company assets and stock merchandise in the store and backroom.
• Organize damaged products and notify management of out-of-stock items.
• Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, organizing merchandise, and taking out the trash.
• Work with the stock team to continuously replenish stock on the sales floor.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Must be available on Weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse personalities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift.
• Capability to lift 40-60 pounds.
• Strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
