Hudson, a travel retailer within the Avolta family, is hiring a Retail Associate for its location at Fort Lauderdale International Airport. This role is central to delivering an exceptional customer experience, handling transactions, and ensuring smooth store operations.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and greet customers with a friendly smile.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and store management.
- Learn merchandise details to assist customers and answer their questions.
- Operate a cash register efficiently, including processing credit card transactions.
- Follow company policies for cash handling and loss prevention.
- Inform management about pricing, inventory, and out-of-date issues.
- Protect company assets and stock merchandise in the store and backroom.
- Organize damaged products and notify management of out-of-stock items.
- Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, organizing merchandise, and taking out the trash.
- Work with the stock team to continuously replenish stock on the sales floor.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Must be available on Weekends.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse personalities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift.
- Capability to lift 40-60 pounds.
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
