Responsibilities
- Qualifying and monitoring origination partners
- Underwriting and pricing analysis
- Investment committee preparation
- Collateral diligence and loan review
- Transaction management and closing
- Portfolio monitoring and risk assessment
- Managing residential credit transactions from approval through closing by: - Coordinating with originators, diligence providers, servicers, and counsel - Managing deal workflows, closing timelines, and documentation - Reviewing loan purchase agreements, servicing documents, and extensions - Maintaining transaction checklists and funding readiness
- Support diligence and collateral validation for residential loan acquisitions: - Managing third-party diligence providers performing loan-level reviews - Reviewing inventory and exception reports with custodians - Coordinating with originators to resolve collateral exceptions - Identifying risks and ensuring loan files meet Arrived’s investment standards prior to closing
- Assist the investment team in evaluating residential credit opportunities: - Supporting underwriting of loan structures, leverage levels, borrower profiles, and collateral - Preparing internal deal summaries and investment memos - Supporting pricing analysis and capital allocation decisions - Maintaining pipeline and investment tracking models
- Support monitoring and risk management of Arrived’s credit portfolio: - Tracking borrower performance and key loan milestones - Monitoring covenant compliance and extension requests - Supporting portfolio reporting and internal credit reviews - Identifying emerging risks across the portfolio
- Help build scalable infrastructure supporting Arrived’s credit platform: - Improving diligence workflows and operational processes - Supporting loan tracking systems and portfolio analytics - Assisting with reporting and investment data infrastructure
Requirements
- Have great experience in real estate credit, private credit, structured finance, or mortgage finance
- Have experience working with loan-level collateral or mortgage-backed securities
- Have worked at a lender, credit fund, diligence firm, or investment platform
- Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and transaction management skills
- Are detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple transactions simultaneously
- Are proficient in Excel and financial analysis tools
- Have familiarity with loan documentation and collateral review
- Communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats
