The Research & Talent Sourcer will play a key role in supporting Remote Raven’s recruitment efforts through strategic research, headhunting, and candidate engagement. This position requires a highly analytical and curious mindset to identify talent beyond traditional job titles and uncover opportunities across competitive landscapes.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth research to identify qualified candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, company websites, and other online resources
- Think beyond standard job titles (e.g., identifying alternative titles or adjacent roles when sourcing for positions such as Controller, Finance Manager, etc.)
- Research competitor companies and related industries to uncover hidden talent pools
- Support headhunting efforts through outbound messaging and targeted outreach campaigns
- Draft and post job advertisements and sourcing messages
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and follow-ups
- Investigate candidate backgrounds and career paths to assess alignment
- Maintain accurate candidate records and research notes
- Prepare and send agreements using DocuSign
- Track agreement status and follow up as needed
- Support compliance and documentation throughout the recruitment process
- Update and manage candidate and company data in HubSpot
- Assist with light recruitment marketing efforts (campaign tracking, messaging optimization)
- Support sourcing campaigns with data and insights from research
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, research, or lead generation
- US Recruitment/Sourcing experience
Nice to Have
- Exposure to headhunting or outbound recruiting
- Experience with DocuSign and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
- Interest in business, markets, and competitive research
- Willingness to learn new industries, roles, and recruiting strategies
- Ability to conduct interviews
