NTU is looking for a Research Fellow to join a project investigating the complex interactions between the environment, microbes, and human health. This role focuses specifically on understanding how biofilms change under pressure.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement rigorous studies to investigate environment-microbe-human interactions.
- Conduct wet-lab experiments.
- Perform in-depth, critical data analysis.
- Communicate findings through presentations and high-quality journal publications.
- Assist in supervising research students within the group.
What We're Looking For
- A PhD degree in microbiology, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field.
- Expertise in Python, Linux, and High-Performance Computing (HPC).
- Experience conducting wet-lab experiments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with group members and external partners.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- The ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision.
