NCS is looking for a Research Fellow to join the research team under the Heart Protection theme at the National Heart Research Institute of Singapore (NHRIS), National Heart Centre of Singapore (NHCS). You will engage in translational research, including designing, developing, and maintaining robust bioinformatics pipelines for various studies; designing studies to generate actionable biological hypotheses and conducting their downstream validation; and communicating results clearly through presentations, publications, and grant contributions.

What We're Looking For
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Life Sciences (with bioinformatics focus), or equivalent.
- Strong skills in NGS pipelines (RNA-seq, WES, ATAC-seq) using R/Python and tools like STAR, Seurat/Scanpy, and DESeq2.
- Experience with public datasets and multi-modal integration across genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end projects from data QC to publication; capable of independent work in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent team player with strong prioritisation and multitasking abilities.
Nice to Have
- Background in biostatistics/quantitative data science.
- Wet lab molecular biology experience would be an advantage.
