Netflix Global, LLC is hiring a Research Engineer (L4) - Globalization to develop and productize algorithms that power high-quality localization at scale. In this role, you will conduct Machine Learning research and partner with a cross-functional team to deliver business impact.
What You'll Do
- Research, develop and productize models for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Speaker Diarization, and Audio Understanding
- Partner closely with other ML engineers and scientists to integrate work into business applications
- Act as domain expert and thought leader in identifying new research opportunities with significant business impact
- Present your research to all levels of the company clearly and concisely
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of conducting research in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Speaker Diarization, and Audio Understanding models, demonstrated by publications in top-tier conferences or journals
- MS or PhD in ML, Computer Science or related fields
- Familiarity with common ML and DL frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity; able to take ownership, and thrive with minimal oversight and process

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $150,000 - $750,000 + equity
