Pennsylvania State University is looking for a part-time Research Associate focused on Novel Food Enzymes. You will join Dr. Yi Zhang’s team in the Food Science Department, part of the College of Agricultural Sciences, to conduct research on the discovery and characterization of novel enzymes for food applications.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research on the discovery and characterization of novel food enzymes to enhance the functionality of food molecules.
- Integrate molecular biology, bioinformatics, and protein engineering tools to improve enzyme performance.
- Design and optimize enzyme-catalyzed reactions for food structure modification.
- Contribute to manuscript preparation and present research findings at scientific conferences.
