Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is seeking a Research Associate to join its Fraunhofer SIT institute at the new Heilbronn location. This position focuses on applied research and development in cybersecurity and data protection, working to translate scientific insights into practical, real-world solutions.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research and development projects in cybersecurity and data protection.
- Collaborate closely with leading companies and public institutions in the region.
- Work with internationally renowned scientists.
- Contribute to the transfer of research results into real-world applications.
- Publish findings and present at international conferences.
- Support the acquisition and implementation of national and international research projects.
What We're Looking For
- A PhD or master's degree in computer science or a related field with above-average grades.
- Extensive knowledge, keen interest, and ideally practical experience in cybersecurity or data protection.
- Willingness to take on new challenges, strong analytical thinking, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
