Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Research Assistant I to support a wide range of medical research initiatives. In this role, you'll manage operational tasks, assist with data and quality control, and serve as a collaborative, floating resource across multiple departments in our fast-paced, evolving environment.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a floating resource across multiple departments, including Research Operations, Site Operations, and Data Management.
- Support key functions like quality control, user access testing, training tracking, and regulatory documentation.
- Prepare materials such as Master Plans, meeting minutes, source documentation, and distribute study-related content.
- Liaise with investigational sites and sponsors to resolve data queries and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Manage study data flow including receipt, review, and feedback for endpoint testing.
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met.
- Follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, company SOPs, and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide study coordination support as needed across various clinical trials.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical research setting or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with FDA and ICH regulations, and basic knowledge of the clinical trial process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and organization skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, shift focus efficiently, and work collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Willingness to take direction and contribute to team success.
Nice to Have
- Nursing or bachelor’s degree.
