Merck & Co., Inc. / Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC is hiring a Representante de Ventas Animales de Compañía for the Valle del Cauca region. In this role, you will apply your veterinary and commercial expertise to drive the adoption of our companion animal portfolio through direct engagement with veterinary clinics, pet shops, and agropuntos in Cali and its metropolitan area.
What You'll Do
- Conduct veterinary medical visits to clinics, pet shops, and agropuntos to generate demand for our companion animal portfolio.
- Provide technical training on the portfolio to veterinarians and counter staff, detailing the features, advantages, and benefits of each brand.
- Transfer orders from visited points of sale to distributors in your assigned area.
- Handle claims and provide necessary technical assistance within your assigned area and for visited points of sale.
- Design and agree upon activities with distributors and points of sale to boost portfolio rotation.
- Support the business unit during product launches and by participating in congresses, events, and other activities.
What We're Looking For
- A professional Veterinarian license.
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial area.
- Proven track record conducting medical visits.
- Experience in consultative sales.
- A valid driver's license.
Work Mode
This is a local, city-based role requiring travel within Cali and the Valle del Cauca metropolitan area.
