World Business Lenders, LLC is hiring a Remote Valuation Analyst (Real Estate) to join our dedicated remote team. We empower small and medium-sized businesses by providing flexible short-term commercial loans backed by real estate collateral. In this role, you will analyze real estate collateral for loan applications to determine market value using online comps data and various valuation methodologies in a fast-paced, remote environment.
What You'll Do
- Analyze real estate collateral pledged for loans to determine estimated market value using comparable data from platforms like Zillow, Redfin, CoStar, and LoopNet.
- Conduct research on local U.S. real estate markets, including sales trends, rent trends, vacancy rates, cap rates, and neighborhood characteristics.
- Apply appropriate valuation methodologies, including sales comparison, income, and cost approaches.
- Review third-party appraisal reports for reasonableness and consistency with market data.
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain organized valuation work files and supporting documentation.
- Create exhibits, tables, and charts for valuation reports.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, drafting emails, and updating internal systems and reports.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- 100% fluency in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in banking, real estate, underwriting, valuation, or real estate appraisal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
