Destination Knot is seeking a Remote Travel Agent specializing in leisure and vacation travel. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, crafting personalized itineraries and managing all aspects of their vacation planning from a remote setting.
What You'll Do
- Consult with clients to understand their vacation preferences, budget, and travel style
- Research, plan, and book comprehensive travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, tours, and activities
- Provide expert destination knowledge and create detailed, personalized itineraries
- Manage bookings, changes, and client communications to ensure a seamless travel experience
- Stay current on travel industry trends, destination updates, and supplier offerings
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Travel Agent with a focus on leisure and vacation bookings
- In-depth knowledge of major travel booking systems (GDS), supplier portals, and travel technology
- Excellent customer service, communication, and sales skills
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule in a remote environment
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be based in Charlotte, North Carolina or the immediate surrounding area.
