Talkiatry is seeking independently licensed therapists to provide 100% remote outpatient mental health care to patients in Maine. The role offers predictable W-2 employment with full benefits, minimal administrative burden, and clinical autonomy within a structured, evidence-based virtual care model designed by clinicians.
What You'll Do
- Provide 100% remote, outpatient therapy services
- Manage lower to moderate acuity patient populations (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, others)
- Conduct standard session lengths (60-minute intakes and follow-ups)
- Maintain a consistent outpatient caseload with defined, transparent goals
- Avoid inpatient, IOP/PHP, or crisis-call responsibilities
- Collaborate with an in-house referral network of psychiatrists
- Engage in independent treatment decision-making
- Provide input into schedule and weekly availability within operational guidelines
- Practice within evidence-based clinical standards
- Utilize accessible clinical leadership for consultation and support
What We're Looking For
- Independently licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or equivalent)
- Active, unrestricted license (multi-state licensing support available)
- Two or more independent and active state licenses (except for CA, NY and MA)
- Comfort managing a consistent outpatient caseload
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and independent decision-making
- Comfort practicing in a fast-paced but sustainable outpatient environment
Nice to Have
- Experience from outpatient, community mental health, hospital, IOP, or other structured clinical settings
- Experience with structured, skills-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, MI, DBT-informed care)
