Uptalent.io is seeking a Remote Structural Engineer with US Experience to join our exclusive network of top-tier engineers. You will be presented to leading US engineering firms and projects where your expertise in building and infrastructure design is needed.
What You'll Do
- Design and analyze structural components and systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD software.
- Conduct structural assessments and provide solutions for existing structures.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Perform calculations to ensure the structural integrity of designs.
- Review and approve structural shop drawings and submittals.
- Monitor construction processes and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
- At least 2 years of remote work experience with a US-based company.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Enelcarc, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
- Strong skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Excellent understanding of US building codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
