Work as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in a fully remote outpatient setting, providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients across Florida. This role offers full clinical independence within a supportive, team-based environment that prioritizes evidence-based treatment and long-term patient outcomes.
Role Overview
You’ll conduct 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits via telepsychiatry, focusing on lower to moderate acuity conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. The model emphasizes thorough, patient-centered care without pressure to increase volume or shorten sessions.
This position does not include inpatient care, crisis management, or coverage for intensive programs. You’ll operate within an integrated care framework, collaborating with psychiatrists and therapists through an internal referral network to ensure coordinated treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning remotely
- Manage medication regimens and provide psychoeducation as part of ongoing care
- Use electronic medical records for accurate, timely documentation
- Engage in supportive therapy and patient education during scheduled visits
- Exercise independent clinical judgment within a structured, collaborative system
Qualifications
Candidates must be board-certified as a PMHNP-BC and hold an active, unrestricted Florida license with autonomous practice authority. A minimum of four years of post-graduate clinical experience in outpatient psychiatric settings is required.
Successful applicants will demonstrate strong diagnostic skills, experience with treatment planning and medication management, and comfort delivering care through telehealth platforms. Proficiency with EMR systems and a commitment to continuous clinical development are essential.

Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with complete flexibility over your weekly schedule. You’ll operate independently while benefiting from the infrastructure and peer support typically found in larger institutions. The practice is clinician-led, emphasizing teamwork, professional growth, and expanded access to mental health services.
Compensation includes a base salary plus productivity incentives, with total on-target earnings ranging from $180,000 to $215,000+ annually. Incentives are guaranteed during the initial onboarding period to support a smooth ramp-up.
