Parsons Transportation Group is hiring a Remote Project Coordinator to support construction services for the FAA T5 Program. You will perform moderately complex office construction project administrative and coordination assignments for design-build infrastructure projects and will be expected to travel to construction sites.

What You'll Do

• Perform a variety of moderately complex office construction project administrative and coordination assignments related to self-performed or subcontracted design-build infrastructure projects including buildings, communications towers, and FAA infrastructure.
• Provide support to the Project Manager(s) for assigned tasks in the areas of engineering management, subcontracts management, and construction management.
• Develop and manage systems/tools for tracking documentation and tasks throughout the project life cycle.
• Monitor progress of multiple projects and provide reports to supervisors and clients including written and oral status reports.
• Coordinate submittals and deliverables both internal to Parsons and to and from outside organizations, including subcontractors and the client.
• Assist with the preparation of risk management plans.
• Prepare SharePoint sites for project organization, document control, and stakeholder coordination management.
• Review and monitor project cost in assistance to the Project Manager.
• Review and monitor project schedules in assistance to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with field staff to handle daily issues such as posting and organizing daily reports and project photos.
• Assist in construction management duties such as coordinating subcontractor submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Field Instructions (FIs), daily reports, photographs, etc.

What We're Looking For

• A 4-year degree in accounting finance, accounting, business or equivalent and/or 5+ years’ experience in an administrative or financial capacity.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and other standard industry software packages.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Highly receptive to new information and feedback, with a demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts and skills.
• Exhibits a positive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement.
• Strong organizational skills and the proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
• Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by Federal Authorities will be performed.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the Federal Solutions team, reporting to Project Manager(s). An average staff of 500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to subcontractors.

Work Mode

This is a primarily remote role, but you must be available to travel to construction sites. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA’s nine regions, the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and several U.S. territories.
