Uptalent.io is looking for a Remote Pre-Engineered Metal Building Detailer to join our team. You will create detailed drawings and specifications for pre-engineered metal buildings, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations while working for exciting companies in the US.
What You'll Do
- Create accurate and detailed fabrication drawings for pre-engineered metal building systems using CAD software.
- Review project specifications, architectural designs, and structural drawings to ensure precision in detailing.
- Coordinate with other design professionals to address potential design conflicts and integrate solutions.
- Prepare material lists and project documentation for fabrication and construction.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team to optimize building design for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Detailer with a focus on pre-engineered metal buildings.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar).
- Solid understanding of structural design principles, building codes, and industry standards.
- Attention to detail and exceptional technical drawing skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
