ComForCare is looking for a Remote Payroll & Billing Assistant to join our team. You will manage the weekly payroll and billing cycle, ensuring caregiver hours and client invoices are processed correctly and on time, supporting our mission to deliver reliable, compassionate care.
What You'll Do
- Process weekly caregiver payroll by verifying hours, timesheets, shift notes, and attendance.
- Prepare client invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure accurate billing cycles.
- Maintain financial records, including pay rates, client agreements, and service authorizations.
- Communicate with caregivers to clarify payroll questions, missing hours, or shift corrections.
- Follow up with clients or responsible parties regarding outstanding payments or billing inquiries.
- Work closely with the care coordination team to verify service logs, schedule accuracy, and authorization compliance.
- Ensure billing and payroll tasks comply with state regulations and company policies.
- Assist with month-end reporting, audit preparation, and financial documentation requests.
- Update the CRM and billing systems with accurate and timely financial data.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in payroll, billing, accounting support, or administrative finance roles.
- Strong English communication skills (C1/C2 level).
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet weekly deadlines.
- Proficiency with billing systems, QuickBooks, Excel, or similar financial tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Professional home office setup and reliable internet connection.
- Strong Zoom presence and communication skills.
- Required: short introduction video as part of the screening process.
Nice to Have
- Experience in home care, healthcare, staffing agencies, or service-based industries.
- Prior remote work experience.
