Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual client assessments to determine therapy needs
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by supervising therapist
- Monitor and document client progress consistently
- Communicate effectively with clients and caregivers in Spanish
- Collaborate with supervising occupational therapists on client goals
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Adapt therapy techniques for remote delivery
- Provide guidance to clients and families during virtual sessions
- Follow ethical and professional standards in telehealth practice
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations
- Use digital tools and platforms for session delivery
- Support client independence in daily living activities
- Assist with sensory integration strategies when applicable
- Educate clients on home exercise programs
- Respond to client concerns in a timely manner
- Maintain licensure and certification requirements
