About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, proficiency in Spanish, and experience working with a diverse patient population. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work location.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve patients' motor skills and cognitive abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in occupational therapy.
- Participate in continuing education to stay updated with the latest developments in the field.
- Conduct virtual assessments and therapy sessions using telehealth platforms.
- Provide culturally sensitive care to Spanish-speaking patients.
- Assist patients in adapting to their environment and improving daily living skills.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Promote patient independence and participation in daily activities.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality care.
