IntellaTriage is looking for a Remote Nurse Advice RN to provide telephonic triage and patient care support during nights and weekends. In this crucial role, you will directly speak with patients and families, follow client protocols, and complete documentation in our fast-paced, remote call center environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct telephonic triage and patient care advice via a nurse advice line.
- Work a minimum of 1 shift per weekday (Monday-Friday).
- Work 2 out of every 3 weekends, both Saturday and Sunday on those weekends.
- Complete shift preparation by clocking in a minimum of 30 minutes prior to taking calls.
- Complete all remaining charting after calls roll to the next shift.
- Attend in-services and additional training on an as-needed basis.
- Maintain Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as designated by the states you are answering calls for.
- Pick up additional shifts when available for clients you are trained to support.
What We're Looking For
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license and reside/work from a Compact US state.
- 3+ years experience as an RN.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced clinical environment (e.g., ED, Critical Care, Surgical Services, Med/Surg).
- Must be tech savvy, comfortable with technology, and accessing multiple applications remotely.
- Must have high-speed internet (fiberoptic or coaxial cable only; Wi-Fi is not compatible).
- Must be comfortable typing and able to handle a minimum of 5+ calls per hour on weekdays.
- Must be available to work Saturday & Sunday on required weekends (2 of every 3).
- Must be available to work holidays as required (rotation).
- Must be able to complete the 3-week paid, remote orientation and training.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must have a private, quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office space free from noise/distractions.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must physically reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work for any employer.
- Must be able to handle stress and multitask during high call volumes.
- Must be able to communicate with empathy while adhering to client protocols.
- Must be able to pass a background check and nurse licensing check.
- Must remain in good standing and ensure home state license remains active.
Nice to Have
- Additional languages beyond English are a bonus.
Technical Stack
- Company-provided laptop and headset.
- Remote call center technology requiring direct connection to modem (no Wi-Fi).
Team & Environment
You will be assigned to a team with required weekend rotations.

- Pay rate of $25/hour once trained to originally assigned team.
- Part-time nurses accumulate PTO based on hours worked per year.
