World Business Lenders, LLC is hiring a contract Tax Analyst for a fully remote role. You will focus on financial analysis, reporting, and tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Gather and analyze financial reports and statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness while adhering to accounting standards.
- Assist in creating financial forecasts, budgets, and analyzing variances.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and evaluate financial information.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiencies in financial reporting.
- Participate in additional projects and tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in English.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area.
- Good grasp of K1 forms.
- At least 2 years of experience in State and Local Tax (SALT).
- Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Proactive mindset and strong work ethic.
- Great attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Sage GL and AP.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams.
