World Business Lenders, LLC is seeking a Legal Billing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will manage the legal budget, overseeing the tracking and reconciliation of invoices and ensuring the prompt processing of payments to external law firms. You'll be a key contributor in a dynamic, results-oriented financial environment.
What You'll Do
- Examine the budget to confirm adherence to company policies and agreed-upon fee arrangements.
- Solicit billing projections and forecasts for ongoing cases to aid in financial planning and budgeting.
- Compile comprehensive reports on legal billing expenditures, trends, and potential cost-saving measures for senior management.
- Evaluate legal invoices to guarantee consistency with the corresponding engagement letter and litigation tracking reports.
- Track and report on the financial information received from law firms.
- Handle additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in accounts payable, legal billing, or auditing, ideally within the United States.
- A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Auditing, or Finance.
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong computer proficiency.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects at once.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful, demonstrating exceptional follow-through abilities.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Adobe applications.
- Able to build and nurture effective working relationships both within the team and with external partners.
- A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
