EX Squared is seeking a Remote Legal Counsel - Underwriting to join our team. This is a full-time position for an attorney specializing in underwriting law.

What You'll Do

Provide legal analysis and guidance on underwriting policies and procedures
Review and draft underwriting-related contracts, terms, and disclosures
Assess legal and regulatory compliance for underwriting activities
Advise internal stakeholders on risk mitigation and underwriting standards
Stay current on legal developments impacting underwriting practices

What We're Looking For

Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in good standing
Proven experience as legal counsel specializing in underwriting law
Deep understanding of insurance, finance, or commercial underwriting regulations
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely
