EX Squared is seeking a Remote Counsel - Underwriting for a full-time position. This role provides dedicated legal expertise supporting underwriting functions and operates within a global, remote work mode.

What You'll Do

Provide legal counsel and risk assessment directly related to underwriting processes.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policy forms, and related legal documents.
Analyze and interpret regulations and laws impacting underwriting activities.
Advise internal stakeholders on legal compliance and best practices.

What We're Looking For

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with a state bar.
Proven experience in a counsel role with a focus on insurance, financial services, or underwriting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
