EX Squared is seeking a Remote In-House Lawyer to provide dedicated legal counsel and support across the organization. You will handle a diverse portfolio of legal matters, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk in a dynamic, remote-first environment.
What You'll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor, customer, and partnership agreements.
- Provide proactive legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
- Manage and coordinate with external counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Advise internal teams on legal risk, intellectual property, and data privacy matters.
What We're Looking For
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in good standing with a state bar.
- Proven experience as an in-house counsel or relevant law firm experience advising corporate clients.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and commercial agreements.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and deliver practical legal solutions.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. You must have a dedicated workspace and the ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
