IntellaTriage is looking for a Remote Hospice Triage RN to provide compassionate, critical after-hours telephone support for hospice patients and families. You will assess patient conditions, determine next steps, and collaborate with on-call teams to coordinate care.
What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate and professional telephone triage for hospice patients and families.
- Assess patient conditions to determine appropriate clinical next steps.
- Collaborate with on-call hospice teams to coordinate care and resources.
- Accurately document all communications and clinical interventions.
- Maintain a calm, professional demeanor while handling urgent and sensitive calls.
What We're Looking For
- Active multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Comfort with technology and the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system used for documentation.
- Ability to type documentation and notes efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle stress and multitask when receiving calls, including volume expectations of 5+ calls per hour on weekdays and up to 8 per hour on weekends.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Consistent attendance, active communication, and reliable internet connectivity for all scheduled shifts.
Nice to Have
- Hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care experience.

Team & Environment
You will be an extension of our clients' care teams, fully supported by IntellaTriage's internal clinical team.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base pay of $25 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $28 per hour within your first 6 months.
- 3 weeks of paid remote training.
- PTO accumulation based on hours worked.

Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. The required schedule is part-time, 3:30pm to 11:00am CST on weekdays, plus rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7:30am to 4:00pm CST.
