IntellaTriage is hiring a Remote Hospice Triage RN to provide after-hours nurse triage for hospice and home health providers. In this part-time role, you will become an extension of our clients' care teams, offering patient-centered, compassionate support during non-core hours.
What You'll Do
- Provide after-hours nurse triage for hospice and home health patients.
- Become an extension of the clients' care team to support them and their patients during non-core hours.
- Follow client-customized protocols for patient-centered, compassionate care.
- Access EMRs for charting and utilize internal applications to perform job functions.
- Communicate empathically with patients while adhering to protocols.
- Complete remaining charting (30 minutes to 2 hours) at the end of your shift.
- Handle stress and multitask when receiving calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, up to 8 per hour on weekends).
- Attend in-services and additional training as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license.
- Must live in/work from a Compact US state.
- Experience with end-of-life care is required.
- Must have high-speed internet.
- Must be tech savvy, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have keyboard competence.
- Must be comfortable accessing multiple technology applications to document during calls.
- Ability and comfort with typing in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Must physically reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work for any employer.
- Must be able to complete three weeks of remote paid training conducted during days and evenings.
- Must be available to work every other Saturday & Sunday.
- Must be available to work some Holidays as required.
- Must maintain CEU’s as designated by the states in which you are answering calls.
- Must pass background check and nurse licensing check.
Nice to Have
- Experience in hospice, palliative, end-of-life care.
- Experience in fast-paced environments: ED, critical care, surgical services, etc.
- Additional languages are a bonus.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $23 per hour base rate.
- Eligible for a $1 shift differential for overnights and a $1 shift differential for weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Accumulate PTO based on the number of hours worked per year.
- Eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan.
- IntellaTriage will cover the cost of non-compact state licensure if necessary for client support.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in and legally eligible to work from a Compact US state.
