ComForCare is looking for a Remote Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for every client we serve. In this role, you will source, evaluate, and manage candidates for caregiver, CNA, HHA, nurse, and other healthcare support positions. We need someone proactive, organized, and empathetic with proven talent acquisition skills in fast-paced home care environments.
What You'll Do
- Source and attract qualified caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and healthcare support professionals using multiple channels including Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, and healthcare job boards.
- Conduct interviews, screenings, and background checks, ensuring candidates meet state, compliance, and quality-of-care standards.
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of active and passive healthcare candidates for ongoing staffing needs.
- Coordinate hiring workflows including onboarding, credential verification, reference checks, and documentation compliance.
- Collaborate with the care team to understand staffing priorities, shifts, and client needs.
- Provide consistent candidate follow-up to ensure engagement, reduce no-shows, and improve retention.
- Support client communication by ensuring timely updates on staffing progress, caregiver placements, and any issues.
- Track key recruiting metrics such as applications, interviews, hires, caregiver show-up rate, and retention to optimize performance.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare, home care, senior care, or staffing agencies.
- Specific experience hiring caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, medical assistants, or similar roles.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in home care, including TB tests, CPR, background checks, and certifications.
- Experience working in a fully remote environment with high autonomy.
- Proficiency using recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, myCNAjobs, and ZipRecruiter.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously.
- High empathy, professionalism, and ability to evaluate candidates not only on skills but on compassion and reliability.
- A professional remote work setup with reliable internet.
- A strong Zoom presence and English (C1/C2) communication level.
Nice to Have
- Spanish language skills are a strong plus.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: USD $1,200/month.
