Agilent Technologies is hiring a Remote Engineer to provide technical support and services that inspire and support discoveries advancing the quality of life. In this role, you will deliver post-sales expertise to external customers and internal field personnel using sophisticated remote diagnostic capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Provide remote post-sales technology support and technical services to external customers and internal field personnel utilizing remote diagnostic capabilities.
- Perform reactive actions for timely and cost-effective problem resolution and proactive preventive actions.
- May support third-party products and occasionally visit customer sites.
- Leverage post-sales interactions with customers to probe and qualify further revenue opportunities.
- May book transactional sales opportunities and provide highly qualified leads to the sales team.
- Determine and develop approaches to assignments.
- Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions and customers.
- Solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience for entry to this level.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in the job role and the ability to work independently.
