Uptalent.io is hiring a Remote Delivery Engineer to provide expert remote monitoring and diagnostics for a client in the power generation industry. You will leverage your deep technical knowledge to ensure the optimal performance and safety of critical systems from a remote, desk-based role.

What You'll Do

Perform remote monitoring and diagnostics of power generation equipment, including HRSGs, Gas and Steam turbines, and Compressors.
Analyze and interpret P&IDs, equipment, and instrumentation datasheets to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Monitor and manage Balance of Plant (BOP) systems to maintain optimal operation and performance.
Provide detailed reports on equipment performance, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborate with on-site teams to resolve technical issues and optimize plant performance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all monitoring activities and diagnostic results.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in remote monitoring and diagnostics of power generation equipment, including HRSGs, Gas and Steam turbines, and Compressors.
Strong experience with P&IDs, equipment, and instrumentation datasheets.
Proficiency in Balance of Plant (BOP) systems and their components.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Proficient in using Office Suite and other relevant software.
Ability to work independently as a desk engineer in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

Experience in Combined Cycle Plants and Control Room operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
