MPF Federal is hiring a Remote Call Center Nurse (RN-BSN) to provide critical telehealth support to veterans and military families. In this December-start role, you will use your clinical expertise to triage symptoms and deliver health education from your home office as part of a 24/7 Nurse Advice Line.
What You'll Do
- Triage patient symptoms using evidence-based clinical protocols.
- Deliver immediate care advice and recommend appropriate next steps, from self-care to urgent care.
- Provide health education on medications, test results, and chronic condition management.
- Handle behavioral health, emergency, and complex calls with empathy and professionalism.
- Accurately document all interactions in the EHR and follow compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with a supportive leadership team and fellow remote RNs.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of recent, hands-on acute care RN experience.
- Current, unencumbered Compact RN License in good standing from your state of residence.
- BSN Degree from an accredited American university.
- Confidence with phone-based patient care and multi-screen computer systems.
- Strong clinical judgment, emotional intelligence, and precise documentation skills.
- A mission-first mindset and passion for serving military-connected communities.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to pass a Public Trust Background Check and Drug Screening per federal guidelines.
- Willingness and ability to obtain RN licenses in all 50 states.
- Hard-wired Ethernet internet connection (no Wi-Fi only, satellite, or radio internet).
- Quiet, distraction-free home office with a door for HIPAA-compliant work.
Nice to Have
- ER or Med-Surg experience.
- Experience with behavioral health, mother-baby, and/or pediatrics.
- Past work in telehealth, triage, or call center nursing.
- Familiarity with military healthcare systems or VA patients.
