Uptalent.io is building an exclusive network of top-tier financial professionals. We are seeking an experienced Remote Bookkeeper with US experience to join our network. In this role, you’ll be matched with US-based clients, providing exceptional bookkeeping services on diverse projects.
What You'll Do
- Categorize transactions in QuickBooks accurately and efficiently.
- Apply payments and reconcile accounts.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding unpaid invoices.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed.
- Utilize industry-specific software such as Jobber, GreenLite, WorkWave, or Service Titan.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong understanding of US accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Minimum of 1 year of remote bookkeeping experience with a US-based company.
- Experience with industry software like Jobber, GreenLite, WorkWave, or Service Titan.
