Uptalent.io is seeking a Remote Architectural Energy Modeler to support energy and sustainability teams in early architectural concept design and certification processes such as Passive House. This remote role involves creating energy models, conducting simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize building performance.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed energy models for buildings using software such as EnergyPlus, IESVE, or DesignBuilder.
- Conduct energy simulations and analysis to evaluate and optimize building performance.
- Assist architects and engineers in integrating sustainable design strategies.
- Provide recommendations for energy-efficient building systems and materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in energy modeling.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients and project teams.
