Uptalent.io is hiring a Remote Appointment Setter to spearhead outbound cold calling and lead generation for our US market expansion. You will act as the first point of contact with prospects, qualifying leads and scheduling appointments for our US-based sales team.
What You'll Do
- Make 50–100 outbound calls per day to prospects using our VoIP system within Close CRM.
- Initiate contact with potential municipal clients, engaging them in conversation to determine fit.
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the US-based sales team.
- Follow up with warm leads via email and other outreach channels.
- Keep detailed notes and manage the lead pipeline within the CRM.
- Provide feedback and help improve calling scripts and outreach processes.
- Collaborate with the team on lead generation strategy and weekly goals.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in outbound appointment setting or lead generation, preferably for US-based clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a charismatic and persuasive phone presence.
- Confidence and persistence in making cold calls and overcoming objections.
- Comfortable using CRM tools like Close and VoIP calling platforms.
- Reliable internet connection and quiet home workspace.
- Available to work US business hours.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute to strategy and process improvement.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the public sector, utilities, or regulated industries.
- Prior experience creating or refining cold-calling scripts or SOPs.
- Familiarity with email automation or sales enablement tools.
