Stanford Medicine Children's Health is seeking a Relief Physical Therapist, Sport Ortho to provide intervention from infancy to adulthood, enhancing performance and optimizing movement, development, and function. You will be responsible for all clinical aspects for patients, including evaluation, treatment planning, and progression within the scope of practice.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient care tasks with medically complicated patient populations, determine rehab prognosis, and implement clinically indicated therapy plans of care.
- Evaluate, recommend, and train on the use of durable medical equipment; may fabricate devices as clinically indicated.
- Discharge patients from treatment as clinically indicated with adequate discharge planning including equipment procurement and patient/family training.
- Identify needs for equipment repair or upgrade and make recommendations for selection and purchase of specific equipment and supplies.
- Initiate and participate in interdisciplinary care planning, including participation in rounds and patient care conferences, and communicate with other care providers.
- Ensure documentation and billing are timely, accurate, and complete.
- Provide direct patient care that meets department and professional standards of practice during assessment, treatment, training, and discharge planning.
What We're Looking For
- Basic Life Support certification by American Heart Association (AHA) or RQI Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support.
- Physical Therapist license by California Physical Therapy Board.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $55.50 to $68.38 per hour.
