Meijer is looking for a Relief Pharmacist to support our pharmacy team in Manitowoc, WI, with the flexibility to float to other locations. This part-time role offers a path to full-time work and is central to our family company's mission of serving people and communities.
What You'll Do
- Fill prescriptions accurately and ensure patient safety.
- Listen to patients and resolve their needs effectively.
- Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
- Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
- Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results in an appropriate manner.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership.
- Develop a vision to expand and grow the pharmacy business.
- Assume responsibility for pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
- Registered and licensed in the state of Wisconsin.
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies, and procedures.
- Understanding of state regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication skills and an ability to be an agent of change.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
