Meijer Stores LP is hiring a Full Time Relief Pharmacist for our pharmacy in Lewis Center, OH. This role practices pharmacy in a patient-directed, clinically oriented environment focused on advancing patient care. What You'll Do
- Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership.
- Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner.
- Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
- Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
- Utilize effective communication skills and act as an agent of change.
- Employ excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
- Listen to the patient and resolve patient’s needs, providing customer service.
- Be responsible for pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
- Perform and oversee (where allowed) clinical services, including immunizations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
- Retail/Community Practice experience.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy system, working knowledge of policies and procedures, understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates.
Team & Environment
This role includes pharmacist overlap Monday through Friday for collaboration, mentorship, and quality patient care. Our leadership structure includes pharmacy professionals at all levels, with pharmacist leadership from the top down.
