Allica Bank is hiring a Relationship Manager based in Devon to support our mission of reimagining Relationship Banking for established SMEs. You will manage a portfolio of SME customers, build deep understanding and trust, and originate new business lending through your network.

What You'll Do

Relationship Manage a portfolio of SME customers, understanding their needs and business aspirations.
Originate SME lending opportunities for existing and new customers from initial enquiry through to completion.
Write credit papers in line with Allica’s credit policy and appetite.
Deliver the business plan for your local area and actively manage your objectives and personal development plan.
Provide excellent service for local SME customers, prospects, and advisors.
Work closely and collaboratively with all areas of Allica to ensure a seamless and professional service.
Be a positive contributor to Allica’s culture and always demonstrate the bank’s values.
Comply with all mandatory policies and operational procedures to maintain internal controls.

What We're Looking For

A highly capable Relationship Manager and Business Developer with a long-term track record of building high-value, trust-based relationships.
A strong understanding of SME banking, including a background in commercial lending.
A history of exemplary customer service and of maximising value with prospects and customers.
A passion for SMEs, self-starter attitude, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to structure new lending proposals and write credit applications expertly.
A proven track record in providing excellent customer service and generating new income while managing credit risk.
Ability to analyse and review financial accounts and associated information.
