CCF is looking for a Relationship Banker II/Member Advisor to develop and nurture relationships with credit union members, delivering creative solutions for their financial needs. You will be central to promoting our financial products and deepening member engagement.
What You'll Do
- Utilize a consultative interview process to identify opportunities and deliver financial solutions.
- Facilitate mortgage lending, open consumer accounts, process consumer loan applications, and sell Credit Insurance, GAP, and MBP.
- Process financial transactions, update account information, and document member interviews promptly and accurately.
- Research issues and collaborate with internal departments to resolve member concerns.
- Foster cooperation with Centralized Lending and Loan Processing staff to ensure seamless service.
- Perform department support duties including scanning, faxes, and working daily reports.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a proactive sales position.
- Minimum 1 additional year in a banking/credit union environment opening accounts and taking loan applications.
- A high school degree or GED.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, rates, and percentages.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills, including proven ability to handle difficult member interactions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven sales aptitude.
- Ability to be bonded.
- Ability to obtain and maintain notary designation.
