Responsibilities
- Monitors and stays informed on federal, state, and other applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory decisions.
- Assists in designing, planning, and executing compliance programs to meet all regulatory obligations.
- Helps create training initiatives to educate employees on compliance topics and delivers required training sessions.
- Collaborates with compliance staff across departments to uphold standards and meet deadlines.
- Contributes to federal and state regulatory proceedings by providing input during rulemaking processes.
- Works with cross-functional teams to share information about proposed regulations and gathers feedback to align them with organizational goals.
- Develops and manages a centralized repository for compliance-related resources such as report templates, documentation standards, and training content.
- Addresses daily compliance inquiries from business units promptly, in coordination with a supervisor or manager.
- Supports the upkeep and updates of the department’s internal website.
- Completes additional tasks as directed by management.
