Puget Sound Energy is seeking a temporary Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our Environmental Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, planning, developing, and implementing programs to ensure the company meets all federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Research and remain current on federal, state, and other statutes, regulations, and orders.
- Provide support in planning, developing, and implementing programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing and conducting training programs to ensure employee knowledge of regulatory compliance issues.
- Coordinate with compliance personnel in other departments to meet standards and timelines.
- Provide input into federal and state rulemaking proceedings.
- Work cooperatively with other departments to communicate pending regulatory proposals and align them with company objectives.
- Establish and maintain a database of all compliance materials, including report templates, guidelines, and training resources.
- Respond in a timely manner to day-to-day compliance requests from business units.
- Provide support and maintenance for the department website.
- Uphold safety compliance standards and promote a culture of total safety.

What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, engineering, or an applicable field, and one year of applicable experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of federal and state rules and regulations concerning compliance processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new and upgraded computerized systems, including software for tracking compliance issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
Nice to Have
- 2 years of broad utility experience or compliance experience in another regulated industry.
- Understanding of utility operations and regulations.

You will report to an immediate supervisor or manager as part of the Environmental Services team.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $72,700.00 - $103,300.00
