About the Role

Tenet Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team where compassion meets innovation. This role provides direct clinical patient care, assuming responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients. You will support the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care, staff competency, and appropriate resource management.

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.
  • Assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
  • Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control.
  • Coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
  • Administer all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
  • Perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed during emergencies.
  • Know the Hospital’s emergency codes, including purpose and appropriate action, and adhere to related policies.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must have 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law and state regulation.
  • AHA BLS certification, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Recent acute care experience.

Team & Environment

You will be responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the CNO.
