Austin Health is looking for a Graduate Nurse (Emergency) to join our team and undertake a supported postgraduate program. This 12-month role integrates a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (Emergency) from the University of Melbourne with hands-on clinical training in our Emergency Department.
What You'll Do
- Undertake a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (Emergency) through coursework and hands-on clinical training.
- Deliver high-quality care to adult and paediatric patients in a critical care environment.
- Focus on essential emergency nursing skills such as resuscitation and triage.
- Advance critical thinking to deliver exceptional care in emergency situations.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- At least two years of acute nursing experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to Emergency nursing.
- A patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to meet academic and clinical requirements as part of the postgraduate clinical program.
