Regional Vice President
Lead a large, multi-district region within a national automotive service network, with full accountability for financial performance, operational execution, and leadership development. This role is responsible for guiding a team of senior and district managers across the Southeast, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, financial targets, and cultural standards.
Leadership & Operations
Direct the performance of multiple districts, translating company-wide objectives into actionable plans at the regional level. Establish a disciplined operating rhythm through regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and follow-up on corrective actions. Ensure consistent application of operational procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards across all locations.
Financial & Strategic Oversight
Own the regional profit and loss, with direct responsibility for revenue growth, margin improvement, cost control, and payroll efficiency. Analyze key performance indicators and financial reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and execute strategies to improve underperforming stores and scale successful practices.
Talent Development & Compliance
Build and maintain a strong leadership pipeline by identifying, developing, and evaluating district and store leaders. Lead succession planning efforts and work closely with HR on hiring, performance management, and retention. Foster a safety-first culture and ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in multi-unit operations leadership within automotive or high-volume service environments
- Direct P&L experience and a track record of managing 75+ locations
- Proven ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial and operational metrics
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently; residency within or relocation to the assigned region required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in shop environments with exposure to noise, fumes, and physical demands up to 50 lbs
Preferred Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or rapid expansion initiatives
- Background in private equity or high-growth consolidator settings
Compensation & Benefits
This position includes a base salary range of $200,000 – $240,000 per year, a performance-based bonus, and equity participation. Extensive regional travel is required, with regular site visits across the Southeast footprint.
Work Environment
Role is field-based with frequent movement between locations in cities including Charlotte, NC; New Orleans, LA; Mobile, AL; Pensacola, FL; and Jacksonville, FL. Work involves time in service bays requiring personal protective equipment and physical stamina.
