Lead the operational backbone of a growing tech company as Chief of Staff, where your role shapes how leadership plans, decides, and executes. You’ll work directly with the CEO and executive team to strengthen the company’s strategic discipline, ensuring alignment, clarity, and forward momentum across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end preparation for board meetings, including financial reporting, operating metrics, narrative development, and coordination—ensuring leadership presents with confidence and cohesion.
- Lead company-wide financial planning: develop budgets, forecasts, and scenario models, taking ownership of processes typically managed by a finance director.
- Design and run the company’s operating rhythm, from quarterly planning cycles to goal tracking and follow-through, ensuring strategy translates into action.
- Facilitate weekly executive reviews focused on revenue, spending, hiring, and product progress—driving decision-making, not just status updates.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, challenging assumptions, clarifying priorities, and helping turn vision into executable plans.
- Coordinate external partners including auditors and compliance teams, ensuring smooth, predictable processes across the organization.
- Plan and lead leadership off-sites and on-sites with clear objectives, structured preparation, and outcomes that shift how teams operate.
- Apply AI and automation tools to scale your impact, streamline workflows, and elevate your focus to strategic leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in leadership roles within product-driven tech companies, with direct responsibility for P&L, strategy, or general management.
- Strong financial acumen—comfortable building models, interpreting metrics, and explaining tradeoffs to non-financial leaders.
- Background as a Chief of Staff, General Manager, VP, or similar role where you operated as an extension of executive leadership.
- Ability to ask insightful questions of data, not just report it, with a track record of improving decision quality.
- Experience preparing board materials and managing board-facing processes.
- Judgment and presence to contribute as a peer at the executive level, not just a facilitator.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Background in gaming, subscription services, or marketplace businesses.
