About the Role

Watts Heating and Hot Water Solutions LLC is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for our EasyWater / Watts Commercial Water Quality division. In this remote role, you will develop and execute growth strategies to penetrate the Water Treatment market, focusing on applications like domestic water, heating water, and commercial pools. You'll manage all daily and long-range sales activities for the region, including partner management, customer relationships, and new business development to deliver the Annual Operating Plan.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and direct all daily and long-range regional activities, including sales management, customer relations, inventory control, proposal development, pricing strategies, and managing channel conflict.
  • Show leadership in developing sales channels, including manufacturer’s reps and distributors.
  • Participate in creating the annual orders and sales plan, quarterly forecasts, and execute plans to meet Annual Operating Plan targets through strategic account planning.
  • Drive and implement business initiatives to trigger growth and manage Sales/Marketing efforts within the defined region.
  • Help customers select equipment based on the current product offering.
  • Provide input to marketing, product management, and product development to create leading-edge products and services.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and strengthen the company's image with industry leaders.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent products, creating and presenting technical presentations.
  • Demonstrate urgency when responding to customer issues and opportunities.
  • Make sales calls on customers alone and with distributors and reps to close business.
  • Share best practices and help formulate strategies for identifying, developing, and managing new business channels.
  • Drive pricing initiatives by collaborating with product management and breaking down internal barriers.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute a sales strategy, targeting both large, multi-year accounts and short cycle sales.
  • Developed presentation skills to interact with people at all levels and functions inside and outside the company.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with the capability to creatively develop business operations throughout the region.
  • Ability to operate at both the strategic and tactical level.
  • Industry experience capable of providing technical insight into the product line and solutions offerings.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Capable of independently negotiating sales activities while enforcing brand policies.
  • Experience working remotely with appropriate home office accommodations.
  • Computer efficiency at an intermediate level in MS Office.
  • Verifiable record of growing market share.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time.

Nice to Have

  • Chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering degree.
  • Experience in the water treatment industry.

Team & Environment

You will report to the EasyWater National Sales Director.
