About the Role

Solmax is hiring a Regional Sales Manager (m/w/d) to shape and expand our professional lighting solutions business in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for the full commercial development of your assigned territory, combining strategic account management with proactive new business acquisition.

What You'll Do

  • Professionally manage and develop Solmax's business within your assigned territory.
  • Comprehensively support existing customers while actively acquiring new clients.
  • Continuously expand and nurture business relationships to build long-term partnerships.
  • Create a strategic business case for regional expansion in collaboration with the Country Manager.
  • Process and manage offers and orders efficiently.
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and budget specifications.

What We're Looking For

  • Several years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within professional lighting, electrical engineering, or technical system solutions.
  • Proven success in project-based business and new customer acquisition.
  • A strong hunter mentality with a passion for active acquisition, business development, and building sustainable customer relationships.
  • Experience in field sales with a structured and self-organized approach to work.
  • Confident demeanor, strong closing ability, and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Good spoken and written English skills for collaboration with international interfaces and internal contacts.

Team & Environment

You will be an integral part of the sales team, working closely with and collaborating directly with the Country Manager.
