Recycleye is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to lead our expansion and strategic growth across Italy. You will define the market approach, leveraging a deep understanding of the recycling sector to drive operational excellence and mission success as we scale rapidly.
What You'll Do
- Build long-term client relationships and provide technical consultation on integrating Recycleye products into their processes, managing an average 9-12 month sales cycle.
- Assist in developing the Italian market through research, stakeholder engagement, and creating tailored marketing strategies.
- Manage key accounts and projects within the region, requiring meticulous attention to detail, active prospecting, and approximately 50% travel for client meetings and industry events.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the recycling process on both technical and commercial levels.
- Identify and prioritize new prospects using existing partner networks, market research, and cold outreach.
- Visit waste facilities for commercial and technical pre-assessments and craft proposals aligned with Recycleye guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to validate and develop winning project deployments.
- Analyze and interpret technical site and process drawings.
- Communicate Recycleye's value proposition effectively through proposals and presentations, working with clients to compute ROI for budgetary approval.
- Develop new and creative ways to improve our sales processes, metrics, and operations.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting.
- Drive and exceed individual monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a strategic sales role, preferably within a technical or industrial sector.
- Deep understanding of the Italian market and the recycling industry's technical and commercial aspects.
- Strong capability in building and managing long-term, complex client relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and compute ROI models.
- Exceptional prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to travel extensively (50%) within Italy.
- Self-motivated with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
