Oversee a portfolio of retail facilities with accountability for operational performance, team leadership, and client satisfaction. Guide a team of Facilities Analysts, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services aligned with contractual obligations and organizational standards.
Leadership & Operations
Act as the main point of contact for regional client stakeholders, building strong working relationships and maintaining clear, proactive communication. Lead by example in the field, supporting on-site presence and real-time problem resolution. Promote ownership, remove obstacles, and foster a collaborative environment where team members grow professionally.
Service Delivery & Maintenance
- Ensure preventive maintenance is completed on schedule with properly staffed resources
- Monitor work order execution and optimize response times using CMMS reporting tools
- Conduct and support Facility Condition Assessments at required intervals
- Verify proper maintenance practices and emergency preparedness across all sites
Technology & Systems
Master and support team use of CMMS, Yardi, and client-specific platforms. Ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and real-time work order management. Train team members on digital tools and remote meeting technologies including Teams, Zoom, and BlueJeans.
Financial & Vendor Management
Take responsibility for regional financial compliance, budget tracking, and forecasting. Review scopes of work, evaluate quotes, manage purchase orders, and validate vendor performance. Identify cost-effective service improvements and support capital planning initiatives.
Safety & Compliance
Champion workplace safety through training, communication, and proper equipment use. Understand critical systems and assess risks associated with asset failure. Coordinate with internal experts and external partners to maintain safe, compliant operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience. Minimum 12 years in facilities management, including 7 years in commercial or portfolio environments and at least 3 years in senior leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, construction documentation, contract interpretation, and building systems is essential. Certifications such as CFM, RPA, FMA, LEED O&M, or BOMA are highly valued. Willingness to support after-hours events and emergencies is required.
