What You'll Do
- Oversee the operations of retail facilities within your region, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to client agreements
- Lead and mentor a team of Facilities Analysts, promoting accountability, responsiveness, and technical competence
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards through proactive training, communication, and on-site presence
- Utilize CMMS platforms to monitor work order performance, track preventive maintenance schedules, and assess facility conditions accurately
- Analyze service trends, response times, and productivity metrics to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery, from scope development to performance validation
- Manage financial aspects of the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with financial protocols
- Support capital planning by reviewing asset needs and submitting justified requests
- Ensure seamless execution of projects from initiation through completion, with full team engagement
- Act as a key point of contact for client stakeholders, maintaining clear, consistent communication and addressing concerns promptly
Requirements
- Combination of education and experience demonstrating strong facilities management knowledge and leadership capability
- Ability to interpret construction documents, contracts, and technical specifications
- Proficiency in building management systems, preventive maintenance practices, and facility operations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience using CMMS platforms and mobile devices for reporting and real-time work order management
- Strong financial acumen, including budget tracking, forecasting, and compliance oversight
- Willingness to support after-hours, weekend, and emergency response activities as needed
- Ability to log into virtual meetings via platforms such as Zoom, Teams, or BlueJeans and manage digital document workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Minimum of 12 years in facilities management, with at least 7 years in commercial, high-rise, or portfolio environments
- At least 3 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-site operations
- Professional certifications such as CFM, RPA, FMA, or LEED O&M are highly valued
- Experience in retail facilities, construction, engineering, or property management a plus
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar financial systems preferred
- Additional technical or business certifications enhance candidacy
