Optiv is hiring a Regional Director - Cybersecurity to lead a sales team covering the Carolinas region remotely. You will be responsible for selling strategic, complex multi-year cybersecurity engagements that include hardware, software, consulting, services, and financing. Your role focuses on building a robust sales pipeline, delivering accurate forecasts, and aligning team execution with Optiv's sales processes and performance management to drive revenue growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead team development to sell more strategic and complex multi-year engagements.
- Build a sales pipeline ideally 4 times assigned targets to achieve and exceed goals.
- Develop and deliver accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Lead team to execute with discipline using Optiv's Force Management and MEDDICC sales process.
- Ensure client engagement strategies align with Optiv's mission, values, culture, and value proposition.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Optiv's Core and Select technology partners.
- Execute Optiv and vendor partner marketing campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with other organizations (Services, Client Operations, HR, Executive Leadership) to optimize revenue growth and client satisfaction.
- Identify, refine, and leverage best sales practices with peer Regional Directors across North America.
- Recruit, manage, and coach sales professionals to create a culture of success and collaboration.
- Accelerate revenue growth while developing strategic relationships with the regional client base.
- Build relationships with client executives to solidify Optiv as the primary security solutions provider.
- Recruit, coach, and develop top-notch cybersecurity sales talent.
- Effectively communicate Optiv's value proposition related to security services and technologies.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing security technology and services sales teams for 5-10 years.
- Track record of multi-million-dollar gross margin quota attainment.
- Experience developing sales professionals to enhance performance or manage them out of the business.
- Strong business acumen and ability to correlate business goals with cybersecurity risk.
- Executive presence and ability to build a strong network of executive relationships.
- Ability to build and execute territory and strategic account management plans.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, productive business relationships with key executives and sponsors.
- Ability to lead cross-functional dotted-line teams of sales, technical, and support personnel.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communications skills.
- Experience in building and selling complex, multi-year hardware, software, services, and financing solutions in Fortune 1000 accounts.
- Experience in and knowledge of the IT infrastructure, Risk, and Compliance markets and competitors.
- Experience selling management consulting services.
